Nobles contributes to the World Bank research on public procurement

January 21, 2016

Nobles partner Alexander Weigelt and Senior Associate Denis Vergeles contributed to the 2016 edition of the Benchmarking Public Procurement report from World Bank Group.  This edition aims to support evidence-based decision making on procurement policies and reforms by proving comparable data on regulatory environments that affect the ability of private companies to do business with governments in 77 economies. The report builds on concepts and internationally accepted principles that are used in the context of the World Bank`s new Procurement Policy Framework such as openness, transparency, competition, value for money, and accountability. As part of the project, Nobles lawyers have helped the Bank’s research team to assess public procurement framework in Ukraine.
