  • Representing Nova Poshta, Ukraine’s leading private postal and logistics company, in the country’s first-ever state aid complaint against Ukrposhta, challenging privileged non-market real estate rental rates and other benefits.

  • Advising MHP, Ukraine’s largest poultry producer and agro-industrial company, on compliance with Ukrainian unfair competition regulations related to marketing, labeling, and packaging materials.

  • Representing Carlsberg Ukraine, a subsidiary of Carlsberg Group and one of Ukraine’s leading breweries, in an unfair competition case against Obolon regarding similar beer branding and packaging.

  • Conducting complex competition compliance spot check for Carlsberg with review of numerous aspects of Carlsberg Ukraine’s commercial operations.

  • Representing Carlsberg Ukraine in an unfair competition case brought up by one of the local beer market producers as a part of a complex sponsorship-related IP dispute.

  • Advising CFG Trading, a subsidiary of Continental Farmers, on competition compliance matters for multiple acquisitions of agricultural infrastructure in Ukraine, including merger clearance analysis.

  • Representing Continental Farmers Group, a leading agricultural company in Ukraine, in a merger clearance infringement case related to acquiring an elevator facility.

  • Advised Swatch Group, a multinational holding company, on the competition aspects of the distributorship agreement for the supply of watches to Ukraine and on antitrust matters in relation to acquisition of luxury jeweller Herry Winston.

  • Advised B. Braun, Ferring, Novo Nordisk, Sandoz, Shire and other Ukrainian pharmaceutical and medical devices market players on competition aspects of their distribution arrangements and various other competition-related matters.

  • Advised Koss, a US-based manufacturer of high-fidelity headphones and audio equipment, on competition aspects of vertical agreements with distributors.

  • Advised BSH Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte, a Ukrainian subsidiary of a world-renowned German domestic appliances producer, on competition matters related to vertical agreements with Ukrainian distributors.

  • Advised Claas, a world-renowned German producer and supplier of agricultural machines, on competition matters related to vertical agreements with Ukrainian distributors.

  • Assisted Man Wah Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of upholstered furniture and home furnishing products, in obtaining several Ukrainian merger clearances for their joint venture.

  • Assisted KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands and a major international passenger and cargo operator, in obtaining a formal approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for code-sharing flights on the Amsterdam-Kiev-Amsterdam route with Ukrainian International Airlines.
