Nobles advised a Japan-based IT company on the restructuring of its representative office and support structure in Ukraine. The restructuring was part of a larger reorganization of the company’s organization in Eastern Europe and CIS.

Nobles supported through the whole restructuring process, which included, inter alia, staff lay-off, redundancies and dismissals, severance and top-management step down packages, service contract termination, as well as optimization of office lease situation, which included a move of the client’s Ukrainian office to another location.

Given the complexity and sensitivity of staff redundancy, Nobles specialists have suggested comprehensive engagement and individual approach to minimize the costs of the client and ensure smooth lay-off of the employees.

Nobles team was led by partners Volodymyr Yakubovskyy and Alexander Weigelt and included senior associate Denys Vergeles and associate Kateryna Safronenko.
