Nobles announces that its Senior Associate Mr. Denis Vergeles has been promoted to Counsel. He will be heading tax and regulatory practice group of the firm.
Denis focuses on the areas of corporate, commercial, regulatory and tax law. For over 10 years now, Mr Vergeles has regularly advised international and Ukrainian companies on various aspects of their business activities in Ukraine. He has made an important contribution to the team work on recent large-scale projects, the successful results of which were highly acclaimed by the clients. Denis’ extensive track record and high expertise will allow Nobles to maintain and further enhance the quality of advice to multinational corporations and domestic business groups doing business in Ukraine in full compliance with local and international laws.
Denis joined Nobles in 2013 from the Corporate Practice of a german-based firm - Beiten Burkhardt - in Ukraine. He holds a master’s degree with honors in international law from the Institute of International Relations of T. Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and an LL.M. degree from Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, Germany. Mr Vergeles is fluent in German and English.
