As of August 01, 2013 Ukraine office of German law firm Noerr split off from group and started operating as an independent law firm Nobles. The company is headed by its Partner Mr. Alexander Weigelt together with the Head of Corporate Ms. Tetiana Khandazhevska and Head of Commercial Mr. Volodymyr Yakubovskyy.
At the meantime, Nobles continues working in close cooperation with Noerr on the “best cooperation partners” basis. Mr. Dr. Mansur Pour Rafsendjani, who left the co-managing partner position of Kiev office, relocated back to Munich where he alongside Berlin partner Ms. Bärbel Sachs leads Noerr new international trade team ; though still remains the local contact partner in Noerr for the Ukrainian market.
Noerr managing partner Alexander Ritvay noted in his statement: “Given the market environment in Ukraine, we have come to the conclusion that a cooperation is the most sensible solution. Maintaining the Kiev office with the established Noerr team will continue to guarantee the high standard of service and quality our clients expect”
Nobles partner Mr. Weigelt also stated: “We are sure in our ability to continue providing high quality legal support for international business. As first months of Nobles activity showed, we succeed in this”.
